Barbecue Beanie Weenie

from the kitchen of Chef Paul Prudhomme

Makes 6 cups, 6-8 servings

ingredients
1 package hot dogs
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons Chef Paul Prudhomme's Barbecue MagicĀ®
2 cans (16 ounce) baked beans
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon mustard
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
how to prepare

Slice the hot dogs into 1/4-inch pieces.

Put a medium size pot ver high heat. Add the oil and the onions. Stir the onions for 1 minute. Add the Barbecue Magic®  and stir for 1 minute. Add the sliced hotdogs and stir for 1 minute. Add the beans, water, mustard, ketchup, and brown sugar. Stir until everything is mixed and bring to a full boil. Stir well and serve.
