Sous Chef

K-Paul’s Louisiana Kitchen is seeking an experienced candidate for a full-time position as Sous Chef.  Individual will be responsible for ensuring that all meals are prepared with exceptional quality, consistency, eye appeal, taste and food costs.  Responsible for training all culinary staff to meet the restaurant’s quality standards; assist in establishing and enforcing food specifications, portion control, recipes and sanitation.  The Sous Chef must control food and labor costs while maximizing guest satisfaction.

Qualifications: At least 5 years of related progressive experience as Sous Chef in fine dining cooking or equivalent; must have knowledge of F&B preparation techniques and health department rules; Culinary Degree is a plus!

Steward

K-Paul's is seeking a Steward. Responsibilities include overseeing staff of dishwashers and directing the workflow to include cleanliness of the restaurant's dishes, kitchen, food preparation equipment, utensils, and other equipment; ensures that work and safety standards are followed in daily operations. Applicant must be dependable, hard working and able to interact with all types of people. Previous supervisory experience required.

Qualifications: 1-2 years supervisory experience required. Ability to work flexible shifts.
